AR Analyst Revenue Cycle Reporting Job Description The Accounts Receivable AR Analyst in Medical Billing is responsible for analyzing unpaid, delayed, or denied medical claims, identifying trends in revenue cycle bottlenecks, and driving strategies to reduce Outstanding Days in Accounts Receivable DAR. Working closely with AR callers, medical coders, and billing managers, this role conducts detailed root/-cause evaluations on complex claim rejections, prepares aging analytics reports, and collaborates with insurance representatives to secure maximum timely reimbursement and optimize overall cash flow. Responsibilities/: Perform high/-level financial analysis on aging AR reports to identify systemic denial patterns, billing errors, and payer response delays. Analyze complex claim denials, partial payments, and zero/-paid remits EOB/ERA to uncover root causes related to coding ICD/-10, CPT, HCPCS, coverage criteria, or authorization failures. Formulate action plans and targeted work queues for AR Callers and Medical Billing Executives to accelerate claim resolution. Draft formal,



high/-complexity written appeals, fair hearing documentation, and reconsiderations for high/-value denied or disputed claims. Monitor key Revenue Cycle Management RCM metrics, including Net Collection Rate NCR, First/-Pass Claim Rate, and Bad Debt percentage. Generate weekly and monthly executive dashboards, denial trend charts, and payer performance analyses for internal management and client stakeholders.
