We are looking for a Business Development Executive, Upwork Sales, who can generate business through Upwork for our web development and digital marketing services.

The candidate will be responsible for finding relevant Upwork opportunities, submitting customized proposals, starting conversations with prospects, taking follow-ups, qualifying leads, and helping close clients through written communication.

This role is suitable for someone who has strong written English, understands Upwork sales, and can communicate confidently with international clients.

Key Responsibilities





Search for relevant Upwork job posts based on our services.

Read job posts carefully and understand the client s basic requirement.

Write and submit customized proposals for each relevant opportunity.

Avoid generic copy-paste proposals.

Start conversations with prospects through Upwork messages.

Ask basic qualifying questions related to requirement, budget, timeline, and project fit.

Share rough pricing ranges based on internal guidelines.

Take regular and professional follow-ups with prospects.

Identify responsible and qualified leads.

Coordinate with the Head of Delivery for technical discussions, detailed requirement understanding, final scope, and commercial approval.

Arrange client calls with the Head of Delivery whenever required.

Continue written follow-ups with clients after calls.

Support the sales process until the project is closed.

Maintain proper tracking of proposals, replies, follow-ups, calls, and closure status.
