Role & responsibilities

- Structural analysis & design: Model, analyse and design RCC and structural-steel structures - industrial sheds, PEB buildings, multi-storey frames, mezzanines, pipe and duct racks, AHU / chiller platforms, catwalks and access structures.
- Foundations: Design isolated, combined, raft and pile foundations, and equipment / machine foundations including vibration checks for rotating equipment.
- Load assessment: Evaluate dead, live, wind, seismic and equipment loads; check existing roofs, slabs and steelwork for new HVAC, utility and process equipment.
- Hands-on proficiency in STAAD.Pro and/or ETABS; SECURE, RCDC or Tekla is a plus.
- Strong AutoCAD drafting skills; working knowledge of Revit Structure / BIM coordination.
- Experience in design of industrial buildings, PEB / steel structures and equipment foundations.
- Ability to prepare BBS, BOQs and quantity estimates; MS Excel design spreadsheets.




- Understanding of construction methods, materials and site practices.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience on pharmaceutical, cleanroom, automotive or other manufacturing facilities.
- Exposure to retrofit and strengthening of existing structures.
- Experience with design of structures supporting HVAC equipment, ducting and utilities.
- Chartered Engineer / registered structural engineer status, or progress towards it.
