Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant with strong expertise in Material Ledger and Product Costing to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end Controlling solutions covering planning, costing, profitability analysis, management reporting, Material Ledger, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
- Configure and support SAP CO processes including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Cost Planning
- Product Cost by Period
- Product Cost by Order
- Manufacturing Variance Analysis
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Margin Analysis
- Material Ledger
- Actual Costing
- Transfer Pricing
- Month-End and Year-End Closing

- Design and implement Material Ledger and Actual Costing functionality in SAP S/4HANA.
- Support inventory valuation and manufacturing costing processes.
- Lead financial and management reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with FI, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, and Supply Chain teams.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and hypercare.
- Support cost allocation, settlement,



profitability reporting, and management accounting processes.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of SAP CO experience.
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Product Costing
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- CO-PA / Margin Analysis
- Material Ledger
- Actual Costing

- Proven experience implementing Material Ledger in manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory valuation and manufacturing accounting.
- Ability to independently lead workshops and business process design discussions.
- Strong understanding of integration with FI, MM, PP, SD, QM, and Supply Chain processes.
- Experience in testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage with finance and operations leadership.
- Self-driven with solid ownership and accountability.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Preferred

- SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting Certification.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or life sciences industries.
- Experience with actual costing, batch costing, inventory valuation, and regulatory manufacturing environments.
