1. ROLE OVERVIEW

2. POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Executive / IT Support Engineer and Network & System Administrator is a dual-function role responsible for managing the end-to-end IT infrastructure of Hyvision India Pvt. Ltd. The role encompasses day-to-day IT support, hardware and software management, network administration, and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and servers within the organization. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for all internal IT requirements and will work closely with the Korea headquarters on technology alignment and reporting.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. IT Support & Helpdesk
Provide first-level and second-level technical support to all employees for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
¢ Manage the IT helpdesk ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of all reported issues.
¢ Conduct regular hardware and software audits; maintain an updated IT asset register.
¢ Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC contracts, and warranty claims.
¢ Provide IT onboarding support to new employees including device setup, account creation, and system access provisioning.
B. Network Administration
¢ Design, implement, and maintain the LAN/WAN infrastructure across the office premises.
¢ Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and VPN connections.
¢ Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization; troubleshoot connectivity issues proactively.
¢ Manage network security policies including access controls, firewall rules, and intrusion detection.
¢ Coordinate with ISPs for leased line management, escalations, and service renewals.




¢ Ensure seamless network communication between the India office and Korea headquarters.
C. System Administration
¢ Administer and maintain Windows Server / Linux-based servers, including patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
¢ Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
¢ Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures for critical business data.
¢ Manage virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V) and cloud-based services as applicable.
¢ Maintain server uptime SLAs and ensure system availability during business hours.
¢ Perform routine system health checks and generate periodic IT infrastructure reports.
D. IT Security & Compliance
¢ Implement and enforce IT security policies in line with company standards.
¢ Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and email security solutions across all devices.
¢ Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and apply security patches in a timely manner.
¢ Conduct periodic IT security awareness training for employees.
¢ Ensure data privacy and compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
E. Software & Application Management
¢ Manage software licenses, installations, and updates across the organization.
¢ Administer business applications including ERP, HRMS (e.g., GreytHR), email clients, and collaboration tools.
¢ Coordinate with software vendors for support, upgrades, and renewals.
¢ Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new IT systems and tools as needed.

4. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualification
¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
¢ Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+,



Network+, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA will be an added advantage.

Work Experience
¢ Minimum 24 years of experience in IT support and network/system administration.
¢ Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, networking hardware, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
¢ Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial automation, or technology company is preferred.

Technical Skills
¢ Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP/S, FTP.
¢ Proficiency in Windows Server administration (2016/2019), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
¢ Experience with firewall configuration (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, or similar).
¢ Familiarity with Linux OS administration is desirable.
¢ Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure/AWS basics).
¢ Experience with backup tools and disaster recovery planning.

Soft Skills
¢ Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
¢ Excellent communication skills in English; ability to coordinate with Korean headquarters is an advantage.
¢ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
¢ Team-oriented with a proactive and self-driven work approach.

5. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

¢ IT helpdesk ticket resolution time and user satisfaction rate.
¢ Network uptime and availability (target: 99%+).
¢ Timely completion of system maintenance, patching, and backup schedules.
¢ Zero critical security breaches due to internal IT policy gaps.
¢ Accuracy and completeness of IT asset register and software license tracking.

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (as per company policy)Work Mode: On-Site Bengaluru OfficeTravel: Occasional travel to client or vendor sites if required
