- Inspect raw materials, fabricated materials, finished goods, and development samples.
- Verify Test Certificates (TCs) and prepare inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify non-conformities (NCs) and communicate them to the concerned departments.
- Perform SAP entries for OK, Rejected, and Rework materials and post them to the appropriate storage locations.
- Prepare Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
- Coordinate third-party testing of raw materials whenever required.
- Coordinate heat number marking activities to ensure material traceability.
- Maintain quality documentation as per requirements.
- Ensure timely calibration of measuring instruments.
- Coordinate third-party inspections as per the inspection plan.
- Coordinate and perform spark, light, visual, hydro, and NDT tests.
- Update production plans.
- Implement 3S and Kaizen practices in the work area.
