Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications using DB2 and CICS.

- Provide production support for existing mainframe systems, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems efficiently.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.

- Develop complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and improve query response times.

- Ensure timely resolution of incidents through effective communication with stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 6-9 years of experience in mainframe development or production support role.

- Solid knowledge of DB2 (UDFs), CICS transactions, JCL jobs, and ISPF/SDSF tools.

- Experience working on IBM mainframes (AS400) is required; exposure to other platforms a plus.
