Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Monitor plant productivity and machine utilization.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and production resources.

Minimize production losses, wastage, and downtime.

Maintain production efficiency and improve overall operational performance.

Ensure the bottleneck for achieving higher productivity.

2. Production Planning & Scheduling

Prepare and monitor monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.

Coordinate production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer commitments.

Ensure timely availability of materials for production.

Ensure production plans are aligned with dispatch schedules and inventory requirements.

Monitor production capacity planning and future requirements as per the order flow Logistics & Dispatch Management

Ensure timely dispatch of material as per customer commitments.

Coordinate transportation and vehicle planning.

Monitor loading, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

Maintain accurate Raw Material, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods

inventory.

Monitor daily stock levels and consumption patterns.

Reduce excess inventory and prevent stock shortages.

Ensure physical stock matches ERP/SAP records.

Implement inventory control and stock audit processes.

5. Production Planning Coordination

Conduct production planning meetings and review progress regularly.

Ensure smooth coordination between all departments for timely execution.

Resolve production bottlenecks and operational issues proactively.

6. Quality Management

Ensure products meet defined quality standards.





Coordinate with Quality teams for inspections and complaint resolution.

7. Plant Operations & Resource Management

Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and infrastructure.

Monitor machine maintenance schedules and breakdown reports.

Improve operational efficiency and productivity. Ensure plant cleanliness, discipline, and workplace organization.

Monitor utility consumption and operational costs.

8. Cost Control & Productivity Improvement

Monitor manufacturing costs and operational expenses.

Improve productivity and operational efficiency through process improvements.

Maintain cost-effective production practices.

9. Team Management & Leadership

Lead and manage production, planning, logistics, and stores teams.

Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Train and develop team members for operational excellence.

Foster accountability, ownership, and a performance-driven culture.
