Role & Designation - Training Manager.

Location - Goregaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Role Overview - A Pharma Sales Training Manager develops, delivers, and evaluates training programs to equip sales teams with product knowledge, selling skills, and regulatory compliance, directly impacting sales performance. Key responsibilities include creating onboarding/refresher modules, conducting field coaching, managing CRM/LMS training systems, and aligning training with marketing strategies to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Training Development & Delivery: Create and deliver product training, sales techniques, and new hire onboarding (induction) programs using classroom, virtual (WBT/VILT), and field-based methods.
- Field Coaching & Mentoring: Accompany sales representatives (Medical Representatives) in the field to assess performance, provide coaching, and enhance skill application.
- Content & Curriculum Management: Develop training manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations that align with marketing strategies and clinical data.
- Compliance & Regulatory Training: Ensure all sales training materials and techniques comply with medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
- Performance Analysis: Identify training needs through performance metrics, sales results,



and field feedback, conducting annual, quarterly, or cycle meeting training sessions.
- Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Leadership (RM/DM) to align training with business goals.
- Administration: Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), track progress, and report on training effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in pharmacy (B.Pharma), Pharmaceutical Science, or Business.
- Experience: 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3-4 years specifically in sales training, L&D;, or as a high-performing Area/Regional Manager.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas (e.g., Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Ortho/Rheumatology), proficiency in MS Office/PowerPoint, and experience with CRM/LMS tools (e.g., Veeva, iPad).
- Competencies: Exceptional presentation, communication, coaching, MS Excel, technical & digitally equipped & project management skills.
