Role Overview

The Trade Marketing Executive acts as the critical operational bridge between Marketing and the Field Sales team. The role oversees end-to-end POSM supply chains, retail-level visual merchandising, competitor intelligence tracking, and the execution of high-impact on-ground trade activations.

Detailed Responsibilities & Scope of Work

- POSM Fulfillment & Logistics: Ensure daily fulfillment of POSM indents requested by the field sales team; track production, inventory, dispatch, and final outlet delivery.
- Shop-Level Visibility: Execute and maintain high-visibility shelf placements, brand signage, display units, and merchandising at retail touchpoints.
- Market Visits & Audits: Conduct regular retail audits and market visits to ensure promotional compliance, display quality, and brand hygiene.
- Trade Activations: Plan and coordinate on-ground BTL activations, consumer engagement schemes, and promotional drives across designated territories.
- Cross-Functional Alignment:



Maintain continuous coordination between Marketing and Sales to align merchandising strategies with distribution targets.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage vendors for cost-effective, timely material production and delivery.
- Competitor Intelligence & Trackers: Track competitor schemes, pricing changes, visibility drives, and trade promotions; maintain structured trade marketing reports.

Qualifications & Profile Requirements

- Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in trade marketing, retail merchandising, or BTL execution within alcobev distribution.
- Operational Skills: Hands-on expertise in vendor follow-up, POSM inventory control, dispatch tracking, and field team support.
- Analytical & Reporting: Proficiency in maintaining structured field trackers, audit logs, and actionable competitor intelligence decks.
- Communication & Mobility: Solid interpersonal skills in English and Hindi/Marathi; willingness to travel extensively for on-ground retail audits.
