Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our Data and Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration and ETL/ELT solutions to support enterprise data and analytics requirements.This role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT development, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and implement scalable ETL/ELT and data integration solutions.
- Build and maintain productive and reliable data pipelines to support data warehousing and analytics requirements.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT documentation, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and data flow documentation.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Monitor and maintain data platforms to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.




- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of data solutions.
- Follow best practices related to data transformation, orchestration, security, and data governance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Redshift.
- Experience in data population, transformation, orchestration, security, and data governance within cloud data environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Redshift/Azure ADF, or MySQL.
- Robust experience with ETL tools and technologies such as SSIS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Informatica.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS Glue and/or Azure Data Factory.
- Positive understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, DW Modeling, and Data Warehouse Design best practices.
- Proficiency in Python; knowledge of Java or C# is an added advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
