About the Job

The Temple Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistics, comfort, and overall experience of pilgrims, devotees, and VIP visitors. Unlike traditional hotel operations, this role centers on seva (service), cultural sensitivity, and high-volume crowd management.

Key Responsibilities

- nbound Care: Establish a welcoming, respectful environment for all devotees; oversee the information desks, multi-lingual support, and help desks.
- VIP & VVIP Protocol: Personally manage logistics, security coordination, traditional welcoming protocols, and guided tours for visiting dignitaries and spiritual leaders.
- Grievance Redressal: Promptly handle pilgrim feedback or complaints regarding basic amenities, queues, or staff behavior with empathy and patience.
- Festival Logistics: Collaborate with local authorities, security teams, and the Temple Board to plan and execute hospitality operations for high-footfall festivals, yatras, and special

- Queue Operations:



Coordinate with the volunteer and security teams to maintain smooth queue operations, drinking water stations, and waiting lounge comfort.
- Volunteer & Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage temple hospitality staff, guides, and religious volunteers (

Required Experience and Skills

- Experience: 8+ years in a guest-facing management role (e.g., guest houses, event planning, large-scale facility operations, or public services).
- Cultural Alignment: Deep respect for the temple s traditions, rituals, dress codes, and philosophical practices.
- Languages: Fluency in the regional language and Hindi/English to interact smoothly with diverse pilgrim groups.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, crisis management capabilities, patience, and robust public speaking or coordination skills.
