- GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Professors, Associate Professors & Assistant Professors in Computer Science Engineering. We are seeking a scholar with expertise in
- Theoretical Computer Science (Algorithms, Complexity, Graph Theory, Formal Methods), Systems and Architectures (Networks, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Blockchain)
- Cyber Security and Cyber Physical Systems (IoT, Sensor Networks, Edge Computing)
- Data Structures & Databases

Preferred candidate profile

- Develop and implement cutting-edge teaching methodologies that enhance student learning and engagement and create, update, and maintain comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Utilize technology and digital tools to facilitate effective learning environments, including online and hybrid course formats.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth.
- Establish a robust research agenda in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, software development, data science,



or other emerging fields in computer science.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Mentor and guide graduate students in their research projects and thesis.
- Pursue external funding opportunities from government agencies, industry partnerships, and private foundations to support research initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university committees to contribute to academic governance and policy-making.
- Support accreditation processes and contribute to program assessment and continuous improvement efforts.

Experience:

- Assistant Professor:
- 05 years of experience

- Associate Professor:

- 6–8 years of experience
- Minimum 1 PhD scholar (awarded or thesis submitted)

- Professor:

- 10–12 years of experience
- At least 4 years as Associate Professor
- Minimum 3 PhD scholars awarded or 2 awarded and 1 thesis submitted
