Qualification: Diploma / ITI or relevant technical qualification; recognised scaffolding inspection certification preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with approved designs, applicable standards, and project safety procedures.
- Verify scaffold stability, foundations, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, bracing, and ties.
- Conduct inspections before first use, after modifications, following adverse conditions, and at prescribed intervals.
- Identify unsafe conditions, restrict access to defective scaffolds, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain scaffold inspection registers, tagging systems, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with scaffolding supervisors, construction teams, and HSE personnel to ensure secure working-at-height practices.
