About the Role

GRP Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead end-to-end plant operations at its Chincholi MIDC facility in Solapur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in chemical manufacturing, plant operations, process optimization, maintenance, utilities, and engineering, with a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations: Lead overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, yield, productivity, and cost targets.

Production & Process Management: Manage batch and process manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to process parameters, SOPs, quality standards, and production plans.

Maintenance & Engineering: Oversee Production, Maintenance, Utilities, Engineering, and overall plant reliability.

Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, batch cycle time, productivity, and capacity utilization.

EHS & Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS, process safety, environmental, quality, and statutory requirements.

Capex & Projects: Lead capital expenditure (Capex), plant expansion, equipment installation, commissioning, and modernization projects.

Cost Optimization: Reduce plant downtime, process losses, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs.





Continuous Improvement: Implement process optimization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor multidisciplinary plant teams to achieve operational objectives.

Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Quality, R&D;, Supply Chain, Procurement, EHS, Engineering, and Senior Management to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Candidate Profile

15+ years of relevant experience in plant operations within the chemical, oil, or energy sectors, preferably in continuous or process manufacturing.

Strong expertise in plant operations, production, maintenance, utilities, and engineering.

Proven experience in process optimization, plant reliability, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Solid leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Educational Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a relevant technical discipline.

Management qualifications will be an added advantage.
