- Proactively escalate delays arising from missing specifications, reference samples, inspection resources or unusually high volumes.

- Maintain an inspection tracker to monitor turnaround time and compliance with agreed timelines.

*5. Vendor Quality and Continuous Improvement*

- Maintain objectivity and independence in all quality decisions, irrespective of vendor relationships, business urgency or stock availability.

- Track recurring defects by product, vendor and batch, and prepare monthly quality trend reports.

- Support vendors in identifying root causes and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Analyse customer complaints and product returns to identify quality gaps and recommend preventive measures.

- Work with cross-functional teams to improve inspection processes and reduce quality-related returns.

## Candidate Requirements

- 3-6 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in consumer products, home and office products, furniture, stationery,

- Experience handling imported products and overseas vendors will be an advantage.

- Working knowledge of inspection techniques, AQL sampling, defect classification and quality acceptance criteria.

- Ability to interpret product specifications, technical drawings, artwork and packaging requirements.

- Familiarity with materials such as wood, metal, fabric, leather/PU, paper and plastics, along with their common defects.

- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets and preparation of structured inspection reports.

- Good written communication, documentation and analytical skills.

- Robust attention to detail, integrity, problem-solving ability and adherence to timelines.

- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Textiles, Design, Production or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
