About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance, strengthen internal controls, and provide timely financial analysis and MIS to support management decision-making. The role will work closely with the Group CFO / CEO and ensure effective execution of the organisation's finance processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, MIS reports, management dashboards, and budget-versus-actual variance analyses.

Provide financial analysis, MIS, and actionable insights to the Group CFO / CEO to support business planning and management decision-making.

Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, taxation regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Ensure timely GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory filings and compliances.

Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements and observations.

Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs, accounting processes, and proper financial documentation.





Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations, fixed assets, and balance-sheet schedules.

Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, working capital, and financial risks, and escalate key issues to senior management.

Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders as required.

Support the Group CFO in annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, banking requirements, and funding-related activities.

Ensure accurate accounting and reporting through Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to improve accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CA / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.

6-12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in Agri input, fertilizer, pesticides, agri commodities industry.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and accounting controls.

Hands-on experience in monthly closing, MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and advanced MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making skills.

Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to work closely with senior management and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
