The role includes coordinating with suppliers, maintaining valuable business relationships, monitoring market trends, verifying purchase bills and invoices, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The candidate should have good knowledge of jewellery, gold rates, purity standards, pricing, and market trends, along with strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills. Previous experience in jewellery purchasing and knowledge of the jewellery market will be an added advantage. Honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to make cost-effective purchasing decisions are essential for this role.
