About the Role

Alpha Style is looking for an experienced and responsible Quality Checker to ensure that garments manufactured meet the company's required quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for identifying quality issues at different stages of production and ensuring corrective actions are taken before garments move to the next stage or for dispatch. Key Roles and Responsibilities Quality Inspection

Conduct thorough inspection of garments during different stages of production.

Check garments for stitching, finishing, fabric, measurements, fitting and overall appearance.

Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

Ensure garments match the approved sample and specifications. Production Quality Control

Monitor quality during the production process.

Conduct regular inspections on the factory floor.

Identify recurring quality issues and immediately communicate them to the Production Head.

Ensure corrective actions are implemented. Measurement & Specification Checking

Verify garment measurements against approved measurement charts.

Check construction, stitching, finishing and other technical details.

Ensure production follows approved samples and quality standards. Final Quality Inspection

Conduct final inspection before garments are sent for packing or dispatch.

Check for stains, loose threads, open seams, stitching defects, finishing issues,



missing accessories and other visible defects.

Approve garments only after required quality standards are met. Quality Documentation & Reporting

Maintain quality inspection records and defect reports.

Track common/repeated defects.

Report significant quality concerns to the Production Head/Management.

Support the development and implementation of quality checklists. Factory Coordination & Visits

Coordinate with factory supervisors, tailors and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Visit factories regularly as required for production and quality inspections.

Follow up on corrective actions during factory visits. Quality Improvement

Identify areas where quality can be improved.

Highlight repeated production issues and suggest practical solutions.

Ensure consistency in quality across production batches. Candidate Requirements

2-3 years of relevant experience in garment quality checking/QC.

Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing and quality standards.

Good understanding of stitching, finishing, measurements and garment defects.

Strong observation and attention to detail.

Ability to identify quality issues quickly and accurately.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality.

Willingness to travel/visit factories as required. Key Performance Expectations

Minimize defective/rejected garments.

Identify defects at the earliest possible stage.

Ensure corrective actions are completed on time.

Maintain accurate quality inspection records.
