We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer to validate data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills and hands-on testing experience with either Informatica PowerCenter / IICS or Ab Initio. You will work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable from source to target.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements, source-to-target mapping (STM) documents, and ETL design specifications to build test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end ETL testing, including source-to-target validation, data completeness, transformation logic, data quality, and reconciliation checks.
- Write complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, subqueries, analytical functions) to validate data across source, staging, and target layers.
- Validate Informatica workflows/mappings or Ab Initio graphs/plans, including session logs, rejected records, and job run statistics.
- Test data warehouse concepts such as SCD Type 1/2, fact and dimension loads, incremental and full loads, and CDC.
- Perform functional, regression,



integration, and UAT support testing across release cycles.
- Log, track, and retest defects in JIRA / ALM and work with developers to resolve them.
- Prepare test plans, test summary reports, and traceability matrices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse testing.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS) OR Ab Initio either one is mandatory.
- Strong SQL skills on Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, SCDs, facts and dimensions).
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and basic shell scripting for file validation and job monitoring.
- Experience with job schedulers such as Control-M, Autosys, or Tivoli.
- Familiarity with defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM / Quality Center).
- Valuable understanding of STLC and Agile methodology.
