Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for a SOC Analyst to monitor, identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity events and potential threats across enterprise IT environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SIEM monitoring, security alert triage, log analysis, incident investigation, threat detection, and security operations. The candidate will work with SOC, cybersecurity, network, cloud, and infrastructure teams to detect and respond to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
- Perform initial triage and classification of security alerts.
- Investigate suspicious activities and determine whether alerts are genuine threats or false positives.




- Analyze logs from servers, endpoints, applications, network devices, and security appliances.
- Investigate common security incidents such as:

- Phishing
- Malware
- Brute-force attacks
- Unauthorized access
- Suspicious login activity
- Credential attacks
- Privilege escalation
- Data exfiltration attempts

- Analyze Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) including malicious IPs, domains, URLs, hashes, and suspicious files.
- Escalate confirmed or high-severity incidents according to SOC procedures.
- Support incident containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
- Perform basic threat hunting based on security alerts and threat intelligence.
- Monitor endpoint security alerts and investigate suspicious processes or activities.
- Analyze network traffic and security events when required.
