Job Summary

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures to ensure secure and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective maintenance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Inspect electrical systems, cables, circuit breakers, motors, and panels.
- Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and electrical safety.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable electrical standards.
