Job Description – Nursery Teacher

We are looking for a caring, creative, energetic, and responsible Nursery Teacher to join our preschool. The teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment for young children and supporting their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and conduct age-appropriate, activity-based learning activities.
2. Implement the prescribed preschool curriculum effectively.
3. Conduct storytelling, rhymes, music, art & craft, sensory, and creative activities.
4. Develop children's language, communication, motor, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
5. Introduce pre-reading, phonics readiness, pre-writing, and early numeracy concepts.
6. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
7. Observe and monitor children's learning and developmental progress.
8. Maintain lesson plans, activity records, student portfolios, and assessment records.
9. Ensure the safety, hygiene, care, and well-being of all children.

Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's progress.
11. Participate in PTMs, school events, celebrations, training programs, and other school activities.
12. Work collaboratively with other teachers and school management.
13. Follow school policies, procedures, and child-safety guidelines.

Eligibility:

1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. ECCE / NTT / Montessori / qualification preferred.
3. Preschool or Nursery teaching experience will be an advantage.
4. Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
