Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle EBS DBA with 8+ years of hands-on experience in administering, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Applications DBA activities, database administration, performance tuning, patching, cloning, upgrades, backup/recovery, and production support.

The ideal candidate should be a strong Individual Contributor, independently contributing to the project and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS/R12) environments.
- Perform day-to-day Oracle Apps DBA activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle EBS R12.x environments.
- Manage Oracle databases supporting EBS applications.
- Perform EBS patching, upgrades, maintenance, and technology stack updates.
- Hands-on experience with ADOP,



AD Administration (ADADMIN), AutoConfig, and Rapid Clone.
- Perform EBS cloning and setting refresh activities.
- Manage application and database tier configurations.
- Troubleshoot EBS application services, concurrent managers, listeners, and database issues.
- Perform Oracle database performance tuning, SQL tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor database health, performance, space utilization, sessions, locks, and resource usage.
- Manage Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN.
- Perform database recovery and disaster recovery activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard where applicable.
- Manage users, roles, privileges, tablespaces, schemas, and database objects.
- Analyze database/application logs and resolve production issues.
- Support Oracle EBS integrations, interfaces, concurrent processing, and related technical issues.
- Perform database and application server troubleshooting in coordination with infrastructure teams.
- Participate in production deployments, maintenance activities, and weekend/on-call support when required.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and RCA documents for critical incidents.
