Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior SME with strong expertise in Cards Management Systems and ACI BASE24 to support Payments QA initiatives.

The ideal candidate should be a payments domain expert who understands both the business processes and how and what to test, with the ability to prioritize test scenarios and use cases based on business criticality.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Cards and Payments applications.
- Understand end-to-end card lifecycle and payment transaction flows.
- Define and prioritize test scenarios and use cases based on business criticality and risk.
- Support functional and domain-level testing activities.
- Validate payment processing, authorization, routing, settlement, and transaction flows.
- Work closely with business, QA, technology, and client teams to identify and resolve functional issues.
- Provide domain guidance and support during test planning and execution.
- Analyze defects and support root-cause identification from a business/domain perspective.

Required Skills & Domain Expertise





Cards Management System (Cards MS)

Strong understanding of:

- End-to-end card lifecycle
- Card limits, controls, and fees
- Product and BIN configuration
- Integration with Core Banking System (CBS)
- Dispute and chargeback processes
- Card transaction and payment flows
- Functional testing of card management processes

ACI BASE24

Hands-on/solid domain knowledge of ACI BASE24, including:

- BASE24 Classic and/or BASE24-eps
- BASE24 architecture
- Authorization processes
- Transaction routing
- Settlement processes
- Transaction processing and monitoring
- Understanding of PTLF (transaction log)

Ideal Candidate

- Strong Payments/Card domain knowledge with senior-level SME experience.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and functional testing.
- Experience working with banking/payments applications and enterprise clients.
- Solid analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with client and respective delivery teams.
