The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, statutory compliance, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial systems, along with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with applicable laws.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and clarifications

. • Monitor accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

. • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for invoicing, payments, and collections.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and support depreciation schedules.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.

• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, and accounting standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.





• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books or similar ERP systems).

• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools. • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com); CA-Inter or MBA (Finance) preferred.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or EV sector.

• Hands-on experience with statutory audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
