Business Development Executive – Nagercoil

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate new leads and business opportunities for Tally and other software solutions.
- Conduct regular field visits and customer meetings across Nagercoil, Marthandam, Kanyakumari and nearby areas.
- Demonstrate Tally and other software products, explain features and benefits, and convert prospects into customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-up, relationship management and sales closure.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, CAs, STPs and computer hardware dealers.
- Maintain all customer calls, meetings and field visits regularly in the CRM.
- Submit daily activity updates through WhatsApp/email, including calls made, visits, leads, follow-ups and sales progress.
- Meet the Manager fortnightly at the branch for business reviews, sales updates, customer feedback and pending follow-ups.
- Identify training or support requirements and communicate them to the Manager.
- Work independently as a self-starter, taking ownership of the assigned territory and sales targets.

Requirements:





- Qualification: B.com with Tally certification preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years in sales/marketing/business development.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Tally experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of sales and marketing with strong local market understanding.
- Good spoken Tamil is essential.
- Male preferred, 25–35 years.
- Should have good communication and customer relationship skills.
- Must be self-driven, independent and comfortable with field sales and extensive travel.
- Strong knowledge of the Nagercoil/Kanyakumari dist with local business market

Territory & Travel:

- Base Location: Nagercoil. Reporting to Branch Manager - Tirunelveli
- Responsible for travel within Nagercoil and surrounding areas as required for business development.
- Conveyance: Monthly conveyance allowance for local travel.
- Outstation travel expenses on actuals as per company policy.
- Branch visit required once every two weeks.
