Role Overview

We are expanding our Investment Banking – IPO Origination team and are looking for an entrepreneurial AVP – Business Development who can build relationships with high growth companies and help bring

them to the public markets. The VP will lead a business development team responsible for identifying IPO ready companies, engaging with promoters, and converting opportunities into IPO mandates for

execution by the firm's merchant banking team.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify companies with strong growth potential and IPO readiness.
- Initiate conversations with promoters regarding IPO opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary IPO feasibility discussions with potential clients.
- Develop relationships with promoters,



chartered accountants, consultants, and industry advisors.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of companies planning capital market transactions.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development associates.
- Guide outreach strategies and track deal pipelines.
- Participate in promoter meetings, valuation discussions, and mandate negotiations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience: 6–12 years in investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial advisory.

Education: MBA / CA / CFA

Skills: Strong networking ability, understanding of financial statements and capital markets, leadership

capabilities, and a relationship driven mindset.
