- Conduct research on pervious and interlocking concrete pavement systems for sustainable and resilient transportation infrastructure;
- Develop and evaluate pavement materials, structural configurations and drainage systems for improved pavement performance;
- Investigate hydrological, hydraulic and mechanical behaviour of pervious and interlocking concrete pavements under different loading and environmental conditions;
- Study infiltration, permeability, surface runoff, water retention and drainage characteristics of pavement systems
