Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Global HAM Lead to own Enterprise IT Asset Management (Hardware) for LTTS worldwide. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting global strategy, governance, and standards for hardware asset management, and for building and leading a distributed, multi-region team spanning LTTS locations globally. The role owns the complete hardware asset lifecycle from global sourcing and standardization through deployment, maintenance, and disposal — across all geographies, drives global vendor and OEM relationships, ensures compliance with regional and international regulations, and is the single point of accountability for enterprise hardware asset management to senior global leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Global Ownership & Strategy

- Own Enterprise IT Asset Management (Hardware) end-to-end for LTTS globally, acting as the single point of accountability across all regions and business units.
- Define and drive the global hardware asset management strategy, standards, policies, and governance framework, ensuring consistency across all geographies while accommodating regional/local requirements.
- Own the complete global hardware asset lifecycle — demand planning, standardization, procurement, receipt, tagging, deployment, transfer between regions, maintenance, refresh cycles, and end-of-life disposal/e-waste management.
- Own the global hardware inventory across categories (laptops, desktops, servers, data center/networking equipment, peripherals) ensuring a single source of truth and real-time visibility across all locations.
- Drive global standardization of hardware configurations, naming conventions, and asset classification to enable consistent reporting and governance across regions.
- Drive automation, tooling, and digital transformation initiatives (global CMDB, hardware discovery/tracking platforms, self-service portals, RPA/AI-led asset workflows) to scale operations efficiently across geographies.
- Own global spares strategy and regional buffer stock planning to minimize downtime across time zones and locations.

Global Team Leadership

- Build, lead, and mentor a global/distributed Enterprise IT Asset Management (Hardware) organization, including regional leads/managers and L1/L2 analysts across multiple countries and time zones.

- Establish global KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards for the function, and drive consistent performance monitoring and corrective action across all regions.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for critical or cross-regional hardware asset issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and best-practice adoption across regional teams through global forums, playbooks, and SOPs.

Global Stakeholder & Vendor Management

- Partner with global and regional stakeholders across IT Infrastructure, Procurement, Finance, Information Security, Legal, and business units to align hardware asset management with enterprise-wide priorities.
- Own global OEM and hardware vendor relationships — lead global contract negotiations, master service agreements, AMC/warranty renewals, RMA processes, and vendor performance governance across regions.
- Drive global cost optimization through standardized procurement, volume consolidation, lifecycle extension, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis across geographies.
- Present global hardware asset management metrics, risks, and the strategic roadmap to senior/executive leadership, including input to global IT budgeting and planning cycles.
- Support IT due diligence and asset integration/rationalization for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures involving hardware assets across regions.

Global Compliance & Audit

- Ensure audit readiness across all global locations for ISO 27001, SOX, and customer/regulatory audits, with accurate, consolidated hardware asset documentation and evidence.
- Ensure hardware asset management practices comply with regional regulations and data-protection requirements (e.g., GDPR and other applicable local laws) across the geographies LTTS operates in.
- Drive periodic global physical asset verification and reconciliation cycles across regions,

ensuring discrepancies are tracked to closure in line with a consistent global cadence.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Asset & Configuration Management, Incident, Change, and Problem Management) consistently across all regions.
- Ensure secure, compliant, and auditable data-wiping/disposal of retired hardware across geographies, in line with information security policy and local e-waste/environmental regulations.
- Oversee customs, import/export, and cross-border logistics compliance for hardware asset movement between countries, working with Legal, Logistics, and Finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's/MBA is a plus).
- 8–12 years of overall experience in IT Asset Management (hardware), with significant experience leading teams or functions at a regional or global level in a large, multi-location/multi-country organization.
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end Enterprise IT Asset Management (Hardware) across multiple geographies, including global process standardization and governance.
- Strong hands-on expertise with enterprise ITAM/ITSM/CMDB platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, SCCM, or equivalent) used at scale across global operations.
- Deep working knowledge of the ITIL framework (particularly Asset & Configuration Management) and of hardware categories across end-user computing, data center, and networking infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading distributed/global teams across time zones, with strong people-leadership, mentoring, and performance management skills.
- Experience in global vendor/OEM negotiation, master contract management, and budget/cost ownership at an enterprise level.
- Working knowledge of international trade, customs/import-export considerations, and regional data-protection/compliance requirements relevant to IT hardware.
- Excellent executive stakeholder management, cross-cultural communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior/global leadership.
- Solid analytical mindset with the ability to build and present global dashboards/reports (MS Excel/Power BI or equivalent) to drive data-based decisions.
