Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and purchase engineering materials, machine parts, and components.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
- Follow up on material delivery and ensure timely availability.
- Coordinate with production, stores, design, and accounts departments.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details, and material reports.
- Ensure material quality and cost-effective purchasing.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Experience in purchase or procurement in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
- Positive negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
