Role Overview

A Petrol Pump Manager is responsible for the daily operations, stock management, cash handling, and staff supervision at a petrol pump. The main goal is to ensure smooth operations, increase fuel and other sales, provide good customer service, and maintain safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock and Inventory Management: Check fuel levels in tanks daily, arrange fuel replenishment when required, and manage stock in the attached convenience store.
- Cash and Financial Management: Check daily sales and cash records, manage cash collection and deposits, and ensure accurate billing at the dispensing units.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and prepare duty schedules for fuel attendants, cashiers, and maintenance staff. Ensure that staff provide good customer service.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that safety rules are followed, including fire safety, no-smoking rules, and fuel spill prevention.



Ensure compliance with environmental and petroleum safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Arrange regular maintenance and calibration of fuel dispensing pumps, air units, and payment terminals to avoid equipment breakdowns and interruptions in service.

Key Requirements

- Core Skills: Good numerical and mathematical skills, experience in stock management, and basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and billing software.
- Soft Skills: Valuable leadership and team management skills, the ability to handle emergencies, and a strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Management. Experience in retail management, logistics, or hospitality will be an added advantage.
