Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to manage the complete accounting and financial operations of our automobile dealership. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, GST and statutory compliance, banking, reconciliations, inventory accounting, vendor payments, and financial reporting.

Experience with automobile dealership operations, including vehicle sales, service workshop accounts, spare parts inventory, finance and insurance transactions, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle sales, service revenue, spare parts sales, accessories, and other dealership income.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, outstanding receivables, and payables.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and financial reports for management.

2. GST, Taxation & Compliance

- Ensure timely GST return preparation and filing coordination, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Verify GST invoices, input tax credit (ITC), TDS, and applicable statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

3. Banking & Reconciliation

- Handle bank transactions,



payment processing, bank reconciliation, and cash management.
- Reconcile customer receipts, UPI, card payments, finance disbursements, and other collections.
- Monitor vehicle loan disbursements and pending payments from banks and NBFCs.

4. Dealership Operations & Inventory Accounting

- Reconcile vehicle purchases, sales, stock statements, and manufacturer/dealer ledgers.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, workshop consumables, and stock valuation.
- Verify invoices, credit notes, debit notes, discounts, schemes, and manufacturer incentives.
- Ensure accurate accounting of insurance commissions, finance income, extended warranties, and accessories.

5. Vendor Payments & Expense Control

- Verify vendor bills, purchase invoices, and supporting documents before payment.
- Prepare payment schedules and monitor outstanding vendor balances.
- Track dealership expenses, including salaries, rent, utilities, marketing, and operational costs.
- Identify discrepancies, control unnecessary expenses, and maintain proper approval procedures.

6. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial MIS, cash flow reports, expense statements, and profitability reports.
- Track branch-wise performance for sales, service, spare parts, and accessories.




- Provide accurate financial data and actionable insights to management.
- Support internal audits, stock audits, and financial reviews.
- Required Skills & QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Automobile dealership experience preferred, particularly in Yamaha, Honda, or other two-wheeler dealerships.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication, team coordination, and staff supervision skills.
- High integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Key Performance Expectations (KPIs)Timely monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Accuracy of accounting entries and ledger reconciliation.
- Timely GST/TDS compliance and invoice processing.
- Zero avoidable payment duplication or unauthorized payments.
- Timely reconciliation of vehicle stock, spare parts, and manufacturer accounts.
- Effective control over expenses and outstanding receivables.
- Accurate and timely submission of management MIS.
