Production Supervisor responsibilities and duties

- Manage the technicians and ensure safe work environment for them.
- Plan and execute day to day works of technicians.
- Be responsible for battery & ESS builds and integrations.
- Understand designs to make and establish shop floor processes.
- Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
- Build and Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job
- Assume responsibility for battery builds,



manufacturing and shipping processes in the plant.
- Inspect products prior to shipment to ensure accurate labelling and record keeping.
- Manage inventory of parts.
- Record issues faced in builds and other shop floor processes.
- Ensure organized and clean shop floor at all times.
- Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
- Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Production Supervisor qualifications and skills

- Diploma with 5-7 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years experience in related field required
- Previous experience in a shop floor management / supervising is must.
- Ability to create and follow schedules and Processes.
- Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required.
- Should be aware about factory compliances.
- Must be able to maintain shop floor discipline and best practices.
- Needless to mention, must know using basic computer, Office software and cloud based web solutions.
