1. Job Description

We are looking for a smart, responsible, and tech-savvy Accounts Executive with strong accounting fundamentals, practical experience in company accounting, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in AI tools such as ChatGPT.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and using AI and online learning resources to solve accounting-related problems efficiently.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and accurately record all financial transactions.
- Have a clear understanding of the Double-Entry Accounting System and fundamental accounting principles.
- Handle sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and understand Balance Sheet preparation.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and maintain accurate bank records.
- Prepare Debtors and Creditors reports, outstanding payment lists, and ageing statements.
- Handle GST-related accounting, including purchase and sales reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance, and other statutory filings.
- Maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, debit notes, credit notes, and financial documents.
- Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting, and coordination with auditors and consultants.

3. Computer Skills & Advanced Excel

- Strong practical knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports, accounting summaries, reconciliation statements, and financial reports.
- Good working knowledge of Tally Prime and computerized accounting systems.

4. Artificial Intelligence (AI)



& Self-Learning Skills

- Must be proficient in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar applications.
- Ability to use AI tools for Excel formulas, accounting reports, data analysis, and documentation.
- Should be able to independently research accounting problems, GST provisions, return-filing procedures, and new accounting requirements using AI tools and online resources such as YouTube.
- Must have a practical problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn and implement solutions independently.
- Should use AI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in accounting processes.
- Must verify AI-generated information against reliable sources and applicable tax regulations before implementation.
- Must maintain confidentiality and avoid sharing sensitive company financial information with unauthorized AI platforms.

5. Essential Skills & Qualities

6. Qualifications & Experience

- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical experience in company accounting, GST, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Valuable working knowledge of Tally Prime and Advanced Excel.
- An Advanced Excel certification will be an added advantage.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools is required.
