Role Description This part-time Workday Finance Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work from home. The consultant will configure and support Workday Financials modules, including designing and maintaining financial processes that align with client requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data flows, advising stakeholders on best practices, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting with integrations and reporting.



The role involves collaborating with finance and IT teams, documenting configurations, participating in testing cycles, and supporting end users with training and guidance. The consultant will also help identify process improvements and contribute to solution design for new deployments and enhancements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core Finance and Accounting, including knowledge of financial statements, general ledger, and financial controls.
- Hands of experience in integration using EIB, Studio and Core Connector
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Consulting, with the ability to translate business needs into Workday Financials configurations.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, diagnosing issues, and optimizing finance processes in Workday.
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Workday Finance.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, coordinating with on-site and remote stakeholders in Chennai.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation and client-facing capabilities.
- Exposure to technology-led transformation projects, and comfort working with cross-functional teams in data and analytics-focused environments.
