Role Description

- Job Type: Full-time, on-site
- Working Days: 6 days a week
- Salary: Fixed salary, based on experience and skill level

What You'll Do We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Welder to join our workshop team and support the fabrication of handcrafted wood-fired pizza ovens.

The role involves welding and assembling metal components, working with mild steel (MS) and stainless steel (SS), and ensuring strong, accurate and clean welds. The ideal candidate should have practical fabrication experience, attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- Carry out welding and fabrication work for wood-fired pizza ovens and related metal components.
- Perform welding on mild steel and stainless steel components as required.
- Read and follow measurements, fabrication drawings and instructions from the supervisor.
- Prepare metal components for welding through cutting, grinding, cleaning and fitting.
- Assemble and weld frames, panels, supports and other oven components according to specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, weld strength and finishing.
- Inspect welded joints and correct defects wherever required.
- Use welding machines, grinders, cutting tools and other workshop equipment safely.
- Coordinate with fabricators and other workshop staff to complete jobs on schedule.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools and consumables in good condition.
- Keep the work area clean and organised and follow workshop safety procedures.
- Follow the company's fabrication methods and quality standards.

Requirements

- Practical experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- ARC welding is required.MIG welding is a plus point.
- Experience working with mild steel (MS); stainless steel (SS) welding experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, metal preparation, fitting and grinding.
- Ability to understand measurements and follow technical instructions accurately.
- Ability to produce strong, clean and consistent welds.
- Familiarity with welding machines, hand tools and power tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Comfortable with physically demanding, hands-on workshop work.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team.
- Basic understanding of workshop safety and proper handling of welding equipment.
- Willingness to learn the company's specialised oven fabrication process.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in fabrication workshops, commercial kitchen equipment, metal furniture or architectural metalwork.
- Experience working with stainless steel equipment and sheet metal.




- Experience fabricating frames, enclosures, panels and custom metal structures.
- Ability to interpret basic fabrication drawings and technical measurements.

Formal education is not mandatory. Practical skills, relevant experience and a willingness to learn will be given preference. You're a Fit If You Have Experience In
