Role Description The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Vellore, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient, safe handling of materials and goods. This position coordinates shipping and receiving activities, manages inventory levels and accuracy, and supervises loading, unloading, and storage processes in line with company standards.

The role includes assigning tasks, monitoring team performance, and providing guidance to warehouse staff to maintain productivity, safety, and adherence to procedures.

The Warehouse





Supervisor collaborates with logistics, transportation, and customer service teams to meet delivery schedules and service commitments, while maintaining warehouse documentation and reporting. The role also involves implementing continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Shipping & Receiving, with the ability to manage inbound and outbound workflows and documentation.
- Candidates should possess practical Material Handling skills and knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and storage practices.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control capabilities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and accuracy maintenance.
- Candidates should possess Forklift Operation skills and familiarity with other warehouse equipment, following safety and compliance standards.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in automotive or industrial logistics environments and knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment are essential.
