About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Warehouse Efficiency Intern to support warehouse documentation, inward and outward movement tracking, invoice verification, and inventory reconciliation.

The intern will work closely with the warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate matching of Purchase Orders (POs), invoices, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), identify documentation discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready records.

This role is ideal for a fresher who enjoys working with data, spreadsheets, documentation, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

- PO–Invoice–GRN Matching: Verify and ensure 100% matching of Purchase Orders (POs), supplier invoices, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Invoice Verification: Identify and report invoice calculation errors, quantity mismatches, pricing discrepancies, and other inconsistencies.
- HSN/GST Compliance: Check invoices for HSN code and GST discrepancies and escalate errors to the concerned team for correction.
- GRN Reconciliation: Reconcile GRN data against Proforma Invoice (PI) data and identify differences in quantities, prices, and product details.
- Documentation Management: Ensure all required warehouse and procurement documents are properly organised, filed, and maintained for easy retrieval.
- Sample Tracking:



Maintain the Daily Inward & Outward Sample Check Report and ensure accurate recording of sample movements.
- Audit Support: Compile and provide the required documentation for internal audits within the specified timelines.
- Discrepancy Reporting: Maintain records of mismatches, pending corrections, and unresolved documentation issues, and follow up with relevant teams.
- Data Accuracy: Update trackers and spreadsheets regularly to maintain accurate and reliable warehouse records.
- Process Efficiency: Support the team in identifying documentation gaps and opportunities to improve warehouse record-keeping and reconciliation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
- Robust attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organisational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and follow up on pending corrections.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and coordinate with warehouse and other internal teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates interested in warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, finance operations, or supply chain management will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of invoices, purchase orders, GST, and inventory documentation is an advantage.
- Candidates who are systematic, analytical, responsible, and comfortable handling repetitive data-verification tasks are encouraged to apply.
