We are looking for an experienced, hands-on QA/QC & Finishing Incharge to establish and manage an effective process flow from stitching through finishing and final packing.

The candidate will be responsible for deploying the right manpower, maintaining quality checkpoints and ensuring garments meet approved specifications and customer expectations. We seek someone who takes ownership of quality, prevents recurring defects and consistently strives to deliver the best possible product to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Establish and implement standard operating procedures and a smooth process flow from stitching to checking, alteration, thread trimming, pressing, final inspection and packing.
- Plan manpower requirements and deploy suitably skilled staff at each stage to meet quality, output and delivery targets.
- Conduct inline, end-line and finishing inspections, checking garment construction, stitching, measurements, workmanship and appearance against approved samples and specifications.
- Define clear quality checkpoints and acceptance criteria, and ensure teams follow them consistently.
- Identify defects at the source, coordinate corrective action and ensure altered or reworked garments are rechecked before proceeding.
- Supervise finishing operations to maintain consistent pressing, presentation,



labelling, tagging, folding and packing quality.
- Train and guide operators, checkers and finishing staff to improve quality awareness, productivity and accountability.
- Conduct final random inspections using the agreed sampling plan at AQL 2.5 and prepare transparent inspection reports covering lot size, sample size, defect classification, acceptance/rejection limits and inspection results.
- Maintain daily reports on inspection findings, output, rework, rejection and finishing progress.
- Analyse recurring defects and customer feedback, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with production and merchandising teams to resolve issues and ensure orders are ready for timely dispatch.
- Ensure customer quality requirements are maintained throughout the process.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Relevant experience in garment QA/QC and finishing supervision, with practical exposure to stitching operations.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurement tolerances, stitching defects and finishing standards.
- Demonstrated ability to establish processes, plan manpower and manage shop-floor teams.
- Practical knowledge of AQL 2.5 inspections, sampling procedures, defect classification and reporting.
- Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Basic Excel skills for daily production and quality reporting.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with attention to detail and ownership of product quality.
