Designation: VMC Setter

Key Responsibilities

- Set up VMC machines as per production requirements and job specifications.

- Load and set tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per the approved process.

- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters as required.

- Ensure correct program selection and conduct trial runs before production.

- Check first-piece dimensions using measuring instruments and ensure quality standards.

- Coordinate with VMC operators and the quality team for smooth production.

- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S and safety procedures.

- Report tool wear, machine issues, and quality deviations to the supervisor.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of VMC machine setting and CNC operations.





- Knowledge of tools, fixtures, offsets, and engineering drawings.

- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.

- Understanding of quality standards, 5S, and workplace safety.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI / Diploma and BE in Mechanical or a relevant technical field preferred.

- Relevant experience in VMC setting and production operations preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
