Role & responsibilities

- Operate and maintain CNC machines, specifically Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) with 3, 4, and 5-axis capabilities.
- Set up and machine components for various industries, including aerospace, aerospace tooling, oil & gas, and nuclear projects.
- Proficient in machining processes, including milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, fine boring, thread milling, and engraving.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, including milling cutters, endmills, taps, reamers, and thread mills.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Use measuring tools and inspection techniques to ensure accuracy.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the machines and troubleshoot malfunctions and tooling problems.
- Maintain accurate production records, including tracking materials and reporting any issues.
- Work in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate robust problem-solving skills.
- Have a basic understanding of 5S principles and the ability to work in all 3 shifts.
