Job Summary The Visa Filing Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end visa application process for clients. This role ensures all documentation complies strictly with immigration laws, embassy guidelines, and specific country requirements. The ideal candidate possesses high attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a robust commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Document Verification: Review applicant documents (passports, financial statements, employment letters) for accuracy, authenticity, and completeness before submission.

- Application Processing: Accurately complete online and physical visa application forms.

- Compliance Management: Stay updated on frequently changing visa regulations, immigration policies, and embassy procedures.

- Client Consultation: Guide clients through required documentation, visa categories, interview preparation, and processing timelines.

- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and book biometric and interview appointments with VFS Global, embassies,



or consulates.

- Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the status of pending applications and provide timely updates to clients and internal management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Proven experience as a Visa Officer, Visa Consultant, or in a similar role within the immigration/travel industry.

- Knowledge: Deep understanding of documentation required for tourist, business, student, and work visas.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using online embassy portals, document scanning tools, and CRM systems.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and diplomatic representatives.

- Attention to Detail: Absolute precision in cross-referencing information to minimize application rejection rates.
