Role Description The Visa Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh. This position involves advising clients on suitable visa categories, explaining eligibility criteria, and outlining step-by-step application requirements.

The Visa

Counselor will assist clients in preparing documentation, filling out forms, and reviewing applications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations in person and over phone or email, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of visa rules and policy changes, and coordinating with internal teams to track application progress. The role also includes maintaining client records, following up on pending cases, managing appointment schedules, and providing clear, professional communication throughout the client journey.

Qualifications





Strong client advisory and counseling skills, with the ability to explain complex visa processes in simple, clear language.

Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage) and professional email and phone etiquette.

Attention to detail in reviewing documents and applications, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, collaborate with team members, and manage multiple client cases simultaneously.

Comfort with using computers, CRM or case-management tools, and standard office software for data entry and record keeping.

Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and respect for diverse backgrounds and individual client circumstances.

Prior experience in visa counseling, immigration services, overseas education consulting, or related fields is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional training or certification in immigration, counseling, or international education is an asset.
