Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef / Commis-I in daily QSR kitchen operations.

- Prepare ingredients as per SoupX recipes and kitchen SOPs.

- Handle vegetable cutting, chopping, peeling, washing and portioning.

- Prepare and assist in cooking soups, sauces, gravies, vegetables and other menu items.

- Ensure every product is prepared with the same taste, quality and portion size.

- Maintain proper Mise-en-Place before starting service.

- Ensure quick and timely preparation of orders during peak hours.

- Follow standard recipes, cooking time and portion control strictly.

- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

- Properly store, label and handle raw materials and prepared food.

- Follow FIFO/FEFO and minimise food wastage.

- Keep workstations, utensils and kitchen equipment clean and organised.

- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.

- Support order preparation, packing and handover during rush hours.





- Maintain discipline and coordinate effectively with the entire kitchen team.

- Report shortage of ingredients, equipment issues or food-quality concerns to the Chef/Kitchen Manager.

- Follow all SoupX SOPs, food safety and FSSAI guidelines.

- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef/Kitchen Manager.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in QSR / Restaurant / Cloud Kitchen / Hotel Kitchen preferred.

- Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.

- Good cutting, preparation and basic cooking skills.

- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety.

- Ability to work quickly and accurately during peak hours.

- Valuable teamwork and discipline.

- Willingness to learn and strictly follow SoupX recipes and SOPs.

- QSR, soup or fast-food kitchen experience will be an added advantage.
