A Quality Control (QC) Executive manages day-to-day quality inspection workflows, monitors production standards, and maintains compliance records to ensure raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products meet specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspections & Sampling: Perform physical and visual checks, sample collection, and routine laboratory or shop-floor testing on incoming materials, batches, and final products.
- Compliance & Standards: Enforce adherence to GMP (Valuable Manufacturing Practices), ISO standards, and internal company quality manuals.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of test outcomes, inspection reports, batch planning documents, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) tracking.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting on laboratory or testing instruments (such as HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometers, or measurement gauges).
