1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive with strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Advanced Excel. The candidate should be proficient in accounting operations, financial data management, reconciliation, and preparing accurate reports from multiple accounting datasets.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance in Tally.

- Prepare, analyse, and consolidate accounting reports using Advanced Excel.
- Develop MIS reports, financial summaries, and data analysis reports for management.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, outstanding balances, and ageing reports.
- Verify invoices, vouchers, supporting documents, and accounting records for accuracy.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related records and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting to management.
- Identify discrepancies across multiple datasets and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Required Technical SkillsTally ERP/Tally Prime

- Strong knowledge of accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers, and financial statements.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, GST-related accounting, and ledger scrutiny.

Advanced Excel

- Proficiency in Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF formulas, and conditional formatting.
- Ability to clean, reconcile, consolidate, and analyse large datasets.
- Experience preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and automated reporting formats.
- Knowledge of Power Query will be an added advantage.

4. Educational QualificationsB.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

- Relevant accounting certifications will be an added advantage.

5. Desired Candidate Profile5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.

- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate with internal departments.
- Positive communication skills and a disciplined, professional approach.

6. Selection Criterion

Candidates will be assessed on their practical knowledge of Tally, Accounting procedures, Advanced Excel formulas, reconciliation of multiple accounting datasets, and preparation of an MIS report using sample data.
