# Job Description: Account Manager

**Location:** Ahmedabad, Gujarat

**Salary Budget:** ₹60,000 – ₹75,000 per month

### Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to oversee overall accounting operations, with strong expertise in **Debit Control, Credit Control, Billing Control, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable**. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in financial reporting, outstanding payment management, billing accuracy, and statutory compliance.

### Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.

- Handle debit control, credit control, and billing control activities.

- Monitor customer outstanding payments, credit limits, and payment terms.

- Ensure timely customer payment collection and follow up on overdue accounts.

- Supervise billing operations, invoice generation, and billing accuracy.

- Verify invoices against agreed rates, quantities, purchase orders, and supporting documents.

- Monitor billing discrepancies, credit notes, debit notes, and invoice corrections.

- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).

- Handle customer, vendor, bank, and ledger reconciliations.

- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and day-to-day accounting transactions.

- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, ageing reports, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure timely GST, TDS,



and other applicable statutory compliance.

- Coordinate with sales, operations, customers, vendors, auditors, and management.

- Support budgeting, audits, and monthly and annual financial closing activities.

- Lead the accounts team and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.

### Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

- Strong knowledge of **Debit Control, Credit Control, and Billing Control**.

- Expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and outstanding payment follow-up.

- Knowledge of invoice verification, billing reconciliation, credit notes, and debit notes.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.

- Experience in financial reporting, ledger scrutiny, and cash flow management.

- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.

- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

### Candidate Preference

- Candidates with robust experience in debit control, credit control, and billing control will be preferred.

- Proven experience in payment collection, customer account management, and billing reconciliation is essential.

- Male candidates preferred, subject to applicable employment policies.

### Salary

₹60,000 – ₹75,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
