Job SummaryThe Steward is responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The role includes taking care of guest requirements, serving food and beverages, and maintaining service standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Guest Service

- Welcome guests and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and communicate daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints politely.

2. Restaurant Operations

- Set up tables before service and transparent them after guests finish.
- Maintain proper table settings, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and captains to ensure timely service.
- Ensure the restaurant is ready for daily operations.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, service stations, and dining areas.
- Follow personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Adhere to food safety and restaurant hygiene policies.
- Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues.

4. Teamwork & Coordination

- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service teams.
- Follow instructions from the Captain and Restaurant Manager.
- Support colleagues during busy service hours.
- Follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Eligibility CriteriaEducation: 10th / 12th pass preferred.
- Experience: Freshers can apply; restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Skills: Communication, teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail.

Other requirements: Good grooming, punctuality, discipline, and willingness to work in shifts.
