Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Video Editor specializing in talking-head style content.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end editing of interviews, podcasts, and thought-leadership videos, including cutting footage, refining narrative flow, and adding captions, graphics, and sound design tailored for social platforms. The role involves repurposing long-form footage into short-form clips, optimizing content for various channels, and collaborating closely with strategists and producers to ensure brand consistency and story cohesion.

Editor will maintain organized project files, manage version control,



and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while contributing creative ideas to elevate client brands.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and experience editing talking-head / interview-style content.
- Skills in motion graphics, basic animation, and on-screen text/captioning tailored for vertical and horizontal social video formats.
- Ability to shape compelling narratives from raw footage, including pacing, story structure, and editorial judgment aligned with personal branding goals.
- Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn) and best practices for engagement, thumbnails, aspect ratios, and hooks.
- Experience with audio cleanup, mixing, and integration of music and sound effects to enhance clarity and viewer retention.
- Strong organizational skills for file management, project timelines, and collaborative workflows with producers, writers, and strategists.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working remotely with distributed teams and clients.
- Prior experience in content production, personal branding, or creator-focused media is preferred; a portfolio or showreel of relevant work is required.
